7 shot, 2 killed at restaurant owned by Memphis rap star

Yo Gotti's Prive

Yo Gotti, whose real name is Mario Mims, is a gangster rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He also owns the record label Collective Music Group (CMG) and opened a restaurant called Yo Gotti’s Prive. His mother is said to be operating the restaurant and is marketed as “fine dining.”

On March 29th, a group of Black males began fighting inside the restaurant. This escalated to a mass shooting in the parking lot. Seven people were shot and two died. On social media it is claims that the fight started between Yo Gotti’s sister’s boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend.
