Portland Antifa activist gets felony indictment for 2019 attack on openly gay Asian reporter

Why haven't his accomplices been charged?

John Colin Hacker, 37, has been indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury for felony third-degree robbery. The charges stem from a May 7th, 2019, Antifa mob attack on Andy Ngo. Hacker allegedly stole Ngo’s cell phone.

Andy Ngo is an openly gay reporter, who’s parents are from Vietnam. He has been the victim of Antifa mob attacks twice. He is the author of an expose on Antifa called Unmasked.

On June 4th, 2020, Ngo filed a lawsuit against Rose City Antifa for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Hacker is named as one of five individual defendants.

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt has been accused of refusing to prosecute Antifa and BLM rioters in the past. People are asking why it took over two years just for Hacker to be charged. Also, why haven’t the other known attackers been charged?
