Biden administration authorizes $137 million for at home Covid-19 tests that will not be available until late 2024

Biden administration intends to make "pandemic" last far into the future

MilliporeSigma, part of the German company Merck KGaA, is receiving $136.7 million from the Biden administration to make Covid-19 test strips in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Construction will begin on a new factory sometime in the second half of 2022. MilliporeSigma says they will eventually be capable of making 83.3 million at-home tests per month in Sheboygan. However, production will not start until sometime in late 2024.

Many on social media are accusing the Biden Administration of making plans to extend the “pandemic” well past 2024.
