Prominent BLM leaders threaten NYC’s new Black mayor with riots, arson, and bloodshed

"We will make it a nightmare"

As crime spirals out of control, radical BLM leaders tell incoming Mayor Eric Adams, a former police officer, to take a hands-off approach. If he continues with plans to bolster the NYPD, they say they will riot again.

Hawk Newsome is a Black racial militant and co-founder of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York [BLMGNY]. Eric Adams agreed to meet with him at Brooklyn Borough Hall yesterday.

Newsome emerged from the meeting angry, as he usually is. Then he made wild statements threatening “riots” and “bloodshed.” Newsome opposes plans by Adams to bring back special NYPD “anti-crime units.”

The previous administration discontinued the “anti-crime units” to placate BLM after mass rioting in 2020. Newsome claimed the units are “Gestapo.”

“If he thinks that they’re going to go back to the old ways of policing, then we are going to take to the streets again. There will be riots, there will be fire and there will be bloodshed because we believe in defending our people.”

Chivona Newsome is Hawk’s sister and another co-founder of BLMGNY. She declared that BLM will “shut the city down. We will shut down City Hall, and we will give him hell and make it a nightmare.”

The Newsome’s have a history of engaging in racial harassment of Whites, Asians, Arabs, and Latinos. They promote racial bigotry, especially against Whites, in public. Here they are screaming at people in a restaurant in NYC. A group of Black females was caught on camera assaulting members of the restaurant staff, including victims of different races. The Newsome’s blamed the victims for the attack and engaged in harassment of the staff as well as other customers.

Last May, BLM forcibly shut down businesses along an NYC street to demand that they close for “Malcolm X Day.”

Here is BLM, from last April, targeting a restaurant that an Arab immigrant owns. The crowd chants anti-White racial abuse.
