Media calls it a carjacking

A motorist pulled over for a woman who pretended to be stranded on the side of the road near Yuba, California.

Then, two men got out of her car with guns and assaulted him. The victim was tied up, had gasoline poured on him, and was set on fire.

The perps stole his car and his wallet. They abandoned the vehicle several miles away.

He was able to put the fire out by rolling around. The victim is currently hospitalized. The media has not reported how bad his injuries are.

The unnamed 33-year-old victim told Sutter County Sheriff’s deputies that all three perpetrators appeared to be Middle Eastern.

Most California media outlets have CENSORED the description of the at-large perpetrators.
