Georgia police officer ambushed and murdered in front of his police station

It was his first shift at a new department

Police Officer Dylan Harrison, 26, was murdered over the weekend during his first shift for the Alamo, Georgia police department. However, he has worked in law enforcement since 2018.

Harrison began the day by stopping a man near the police station for a traffic violation. The person refused to identify himself and then attacked Harrison. The officer used his taser and arrested the man.

Hours later Harrison was murdered in front of the station.

The authorities say Damien “Luke” Anthony Ferguson, 43, specifically targeted Harrison because he was friends with the man Harrison arrested earlier that day.
