Jayslyn Adams, a seven-year-old Black female was shot six times while sitting in her father’s Infinity sedan at a McDonald’s drive-thru line in Chicago. A silver Audi pulled up next to them and two Black males with guns exited the vehicle. They fired a total of 45 bullets towards the Infinity at point-blank range. The father was also shot and is hospitalized in serious condition.
The attack occurred Sunday, April 18th. Police say the girl’s father has a known gang affiliation. They believe he was the intended target.
Two other people were shot while sitting in line at a drive-thru at a Chicago Popeyes. A 19-year-old female victim is in critical condition and a 33-year-old male is in serious condition from the Popeyes shooting.
This is absolutely heartbreaking
