The polling company Gallup is confirming what Rasmussen has already been claiming. Americans now support “transgendered” ideologies in lower numbers than in the recent past.
The percentage of Americans who believe it is “morally wrong” to “change one’s gender” has increased by four percentage points in two years. However, there was increased polarization between Democrats and other Americans. Among Republicans and Independents, higher percentages now believe it is morally wrong. Only among Democrats did this percentage decrease.
Regarding “transgender athletes” competing in sports intended for the opposite gender, the percentage of people opposed has increased by seven percentage points in two years. This increase is even among Republicans and Democrats. Now, even a plurality of Democrats opposes this.
