The Washington State legislature has fully passed SB5599, which legalizes the harboring of out-of-state runaway children if the children allegedly want to become transsexuals. The bill also provides state funding for transsexual drugs and procedures.
SB5599 passed the Washington Senate on March 1st by a vote of 27 to 19.
It passed the House on April 12th by a vote of 58 to 39.
On April 19th, the Senate approved an amendment added by the House. On April 20th, it was signed by the Speaker and sent to the Governor.
Washington Senate Bill 5599 amends the law on harboring runaway minors. The bill’s purpose is to allow the harboring of runaway children if they seek “gender-affirming treatment.” This is a propaganda term for permanent transsexual disfigurement through hormonal drugs and surgeries.
The bill covers reporting rules for “licensed overnight youth shelters” and “host homes.” A “host home” is defined as a “private home that volunteers to host youth in need of temporary placement.” These shelters and foster homes would no longer be required to notify parents of the child’s location if the child was seeking to disfigure themselves in the pursuit of becoming transsexual.
The bill would place the children in a special emergency category whose parents are an alleged threat to their safety. Children who want to become transsexuals would be treated the same as children who are being beaten or starved by their parents.
The original version of the bill went even further and also included “individuals, unlicensed youth shelters, runaway, and homeless youth programs.” However, this was stripped out by the Senate Committee for Human Services after angry people showed up at a hearing to express opposition. New language was also added to the bill, falsely claiming that it would prevent “transgender youth” from committing suicide.
The bill also provides $7.5 million in new funding to pay for hormonal drugs, transsexual plastic surgery, and abortions for out-of-state runaway minors.
During a hearing for the Senate Committee for Human Services, Washington Senator Joe Nguyen, an author of the bill, explicitly states that the bill’s purpose is to harbor children from other states to circumvent the laws of neighboring states. Then Nguyen blatantly misrepresents the bill by portraying these children as having their parents’ permission. The bill specifically covers children “away from a lawfully prescribed residence or home without parental permission.”
After Nguyen speaks, Committee Chairman Claire states that the bill does not alter state law on parental consent. This is because the state of Washington has already eradicated parental consent for transsexual disfigurement. Those aged 13 and older can consent by themselves. Those under 13 can still get puberty blockers and hormone treatments without parental consent if their “medical provider” approves the drugs..
