In data submitted to the FBI, 62.5% of known homicide offenders in Minnesota were Black in 2020.

Blacks made up roughly 8% of the population of Minnesota, but committed homicide and other major crimes at rates that are hard to even believe. However, this website has already compiled data that supports this. We analyzed all the homicides in St. Paul, MN In 2020. The city set a new all time record for its highest homicide rate. While St. Paul is about 17% Black, 89.7% of homicides, where the race of the offender is known, had a Black offender.
The 2021 report does not list arrest details for these crimes. Some Minnesota law enforcement agencies report this data to the FBI. However, data for the largest cities is missing.
