“Trans” activist busted in pedophile sex sting, Berkeley cops refuse to arrest him for trying to meet with very young children

Lawlessness continues in the Bay Area

“Sophia” Westfall

A transsexual activist, “Sophia” Westfall fell for a sex predator sting operation conducted by Predator Poachers in Berkeley, California. Westfall lives nearby in Oakland and refers to himself on Twitter as “a lesbian.”

Activists have released chat logs showing Westfall engaged in explicit sexual discussions with someone he believed to be nine years old. He also discussed molesting an alleged six-year-old sister. Predator Poachers alleged that he sent them child pornography and was actively pursuing real children using Telegram. Westfall arranged to meet with the alleged nine-year-old girl and was instead confronted by Predator Poacher activists.

Predator Poachers has conducted stings that led to arrests in 27 states, including California. Most suspects are arrested instantly or the next day. After showing cops some of their evidence against Westfall, it appeared that they were about to make an arrest.

Then suddenly, the police tell Westfall that he can leave. The cops tell Predator Poacher activists that they need to consult with the Alameda County DA’s office run by Nancy O’Malley. Six days later, no arrest has been made.

Alameda County is one of several counties in the Bay Area where the DA’s offices have a reputation for refusing to prosecute criminals. Six days later, there is still no arrest.

Westfall has locked down his Twitter account and deleted his WordPress blog. Predator Poachers says they have copies of his WordPress posts that contain explicit details about a desire to have sexual encounters with children.

Team leader Alex Rosen said this was the most hardcore case he had ever seen and that he expected an instant arrest.

“This person said they wanted to molest a 1-year-old. They sent child sexual abuse material on Telegram. There was horrific, horrific sh*t. All I can say is, we’ve gotten people arrested for a lot less.” – Alex Rosen
