Thug sentenced to 6-7 years for attempting to burn three people to death

SLAP!

Jamal Preston, 27, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey was charged with arson and multiple counts of attempted murderer. Prosecutors say he set a Lakewood, NJ house on fire On August 22, 2020, in an attempt to burn three people to death.

However, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer pampered him with a plea deal in which all attempted murder charges were dropped. He only had to plead guilty to aggravated arson and unlawful possession of a weapon in a separate case. His other pending case involved an altercation with a man in which Preston pulled a knife.

He has now been sentenced to seven years, but he will be eligible for parole in six.
