Parental mob fight at rural South Carolina school

On April 4th, Manning High School called several parents to pick up their children for fighting at school. Then a group of parents battled it out in the lobby of the school.

Four adult Black females were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Ashley Brock, 30, Santana Butler, 37, Andrea Walters, 35, and Ebony Hilton, 39.

Manning High is in a rural county of only about 31k. However, South Carolina has numerous rural counties with high rates of violent crime. The amount of violent crime is primarily dependent on the racial makeup of the county. Clarendon is 47% Black. Manning High is 66% Black and 25% White.
