Victim killed at a gas station. King County, Washington has a policy of censoring mugshots under the pretense that they stigmatize certain racial groups. They also censored the suspects race and left it blank in public records.
However, according to the website Explore Black Heritage, a huge study of yearbook data found that 93% of young people named Donte are African American.
