Japanese consul general victim of racially motivated attack in Portland

Suspect has a history of assaulting Asian people

Yoshioka Yuzo, the consul general for Portland’s Consular Office of Japan, was attacked in Portland. He hit his head on the pavement and was hospitalized. Police say the attacker was Arissa Jean Minyonne Robinson, a Black female with a “broader pattern” of attacking Asian people.

Robinson was given a wrist slap Class A misdemeanor charge of 4th-degree assault but with a hate crime enhancement. The infamously soft on-crime “progressive” Multnomah County District Attorney’s office will probably quietly drop the hate crime enhancement later.

Local media completely censored the race of the suspect.
