The British authorities continue to stand down and allow migrants to illegally enter the country.
A total of 1,295 illegal migrants arrived on 27 different boats on Monday. About 700 of these people were Albanians. Of course there could have been even more that were not counted. Officially, this is now the record for the largest number in a single day. Video footage shows that most of the people are young and male. Some are just economic migrants, seeking out the country with the highest welfare benefits, however many are also members of criminal gangs.
Boris Johnson blamed France. Critics of Johnson say this is a disingenuous excuse and his that Johnson’s own administration is allowing it to happen.
