Biden administration could give billions to illegal alien families for alleged “psychological trauma”

Large numbers of illegal alien families are poised to get over one million each

The Biden administration is negotiating a deal to award illegal alien families with cash for alleged “psychological trauma” suffered in 2018. This involves people separated from family members when they were apprehended while engaged in criminal activity on the US border.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Biden administration could give 940 illegal alien families over a million dollars each. However, this could be the tip of the iceberg.

The move seems to have little to do with justice. Critics say the Biden administration is willing to throw free money at illegal aliens to advance a political narrative. The administration wants to portray its predecessor as being cruel to migrant families. When Biden took office, he declared that border enforcement policies enacted by his predecessor in 2018 constituted a “moral and national shame.”

A deal being negotiated would give one billion dollars to 940 families. However, once payouts begin, more families will come forward and allege suffering. The money would come from the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services.

There is no telling how many illegal aliens will come forward to cash in on this jackpot. It could end up costing several billion.

The payout will encourage more people to cross the US border illegally.
