Black protests against illegal immigration began in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago last January. This started when residents discovered that the city planned to dump hundreds of illegal aliens in a shuttered school building in their community. Woodlawn is over 90% Black.
This new protest was held in the South Shore neighborhood. South Shore is directly south of Woodlawn and is also mostly Black. It is also now being targeted by the city as a location to dump illegal aliens.
