Any school child who stays home sick, and has not been tested for Covid-19, will automatically be classified as a Covid-19 case by Alberta health officials.
This will wildly inflate the number of Covid-19 cases among school children. Countless students with influenza, colds, pneumonia, and other ailments (not to mention the kids faking being sick) will be classified as Covid-19 cases in official records. Alberta Chief Health Officer Deena Hinshaw calls this “adding another layer of protection.”
You have to wonder where else this is going on.
