Alexei Arestovich is one of Zelensky’s top aids and has delivered numerous public addresses concerning the war effort. Like Zelensky, he is a fellow actor. However, he is also a psychologist and specializes in military psychology. He worked for Ukrainian intelligence and was part of the Ukrainian delegation that negotiated the Minsk Agreements.
Days ago, Arestovich told reporters at the Washington Post that Ukraine’s conduct during the war is not bound by international humanitarian laws or the laws of war.
This statement gets even more disturbing when you consider that Arestovich has twice praised the cruelty employed by ISIS as an effective strategy.
