James Edwards, a political science major at East Carolina University, has been charged with cyberstalking.
Police say he used social media to post a fake recruitment ad for a Theta Chi rush party. In the ad, he posted “no blacks” and then left the names and phone numbers of actual Theta Chi fraternity members.
Edwards is vice president of recruitment for Pi Lambda Phi. He has no ties to Theta Chi.
