Yesterday, the BLM crowd massed a Lake Merrit in Oakland for a “Defund the Police Community Celebration.” Lake Merrit is where a mass shooting just occurred during a Juneteenth festival. Eight people were shot, one fatally. The aftermath of the shooting sparked shocking viral videos of young Black males and females dancing and climbing on an ambulance as EMTs struggled to save people’s lives in the background.
However, on Oakland’s east side, about two hundred people, mostly Black families, gathered with police for an anti-crime rally. About a dozen White Antifa showed up to scream profanities and wave anti-police signs.
