There was a double shooting at the Riverdale High School graduation ceremony, which was held at Murfreesboro campus of the Middle Tennessee State University.
Hasani “Sunny” Brewer-Gant, 18, who graduated from Riverdale last year, was killed. Another unnamed 17 year old male was shot and wounded. He is described as a junior at Roverdale.
A 17 year old was arrested for being the shooter. Police are censoring his identity.
Riverdale is 68% White, 17% Black, and 7% Latino.
This is the second shooting at a High School graduation within a two day period. Four people were shot at a graduation ceremony in Hammond, LA.
