San Diego County seeks to break up criminal Antifa gangs with felony conspiracy charges

Will Antifa finally be held accountable?

The San Diego County District Attorney’s office charged ten Antifa suspects with felony conspiracy. They say the suspects are affiliated with two different Antifa cells, one based in San Diego and one in Los Angeles. They are accused of pre-meditated mob violence against 16 people, including at least one minor and a dog.

Law enforcement from multiple agencies carried out search warrants at the homes of eight of the suspects. More arrests may be on the way.

At large:

Erich Yach, 37, of San Marcos, California: felony conspiracy, felony assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a stun gun or less-lethal weapon, felonious use of tear gas charges.

He is currently wanted on an arrest warrant and his bail will be set at $250,000.

The following people have been arraigned and given bonds of $200,000–$250,000. Most of them have already been bonded out. Antifa has wealthy supporters who post their bonds and provide legal support.

Brian Lightfoot, 25, of Los Angeles, California: felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, multiple counts of use of tear gas. Previously arrested for violence in Hollywood, California in March 2021.

Samuel Ogden, 24, of Touchet, Washington: felony conspiracy and assault

Alexander Akridge-Jacobs, 31: felony conspiracy, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon

Jesse Cannon, 31, AKA “420 Noize,” of San Diego, California: felony conspiracy, felony assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon

Luis Mora, 30, of Culver City, California: felony conspiracy, felony assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, and three felony counts of tear gas usage. Previously arrested in Los Angeles at an Antifa riot.

Bryan Rivera, 21, charged with felony conspiracy, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and tear gas usage, was also arrested at the same Wi Spa riot with Mora. Previously arrested in Los Angeles at an Antifa riot.

Jeremy White, 39, of North Hollywood, California: felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of use of tear gas and felony animal cruelty. Previously arrested in Los Angeles at an Antifa riot.

Joseph Austin Gaskins, 21, of San Diego, California: felony conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon. Previously arrested and charged with major felonies for beating a San Diego police officer with a club on August 2020

Faraz Martin Talab, 27, of La Canada Flintridge, California: felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, tear gas usage, and vandalism. He was previously arrested for violence in March 2021.

Jonah Abraham Bigel of San Diego, California: Currently facing a laundry list of major charges for violence in San Diego that occurred during several incidents in 2020 and 2021. The Antifa affiliated Socialist Gun Club stated that Bigel was among the people who’s home were searched.

Other suspects are listed as unknown in the charging documents.
