Portland rioter gets zero jail time for trying to burn down the Multnomah County Justice Center

Far-left terrorist saved from prison

Police made over 1,000 arrests at Antifa/BLM riots in Portland last year. The local “progressive” DA is only prosecuting less than 10%.

One of the people who was still being prosecuted was Hannah Lilly. She was arrested at 1:40 AM on September 24th, along with twelve other suspects. She was part of a group that hurled Molotov cocktails at police officers, briefly setting one officer on fire, and committed numerous acts of arson.

Lilly was charged with felony rioting and released on her own recognizance within hours. Cyan Waters Bass, 21, was arrested at the same time and charged with first-degree attempted assault, two counts of first-degree arson, possession of a destructive device, and first-degree criminal mischief.

Later, police provided prosecutors with more evidence concerning Lilly was Bass. The pair were accused of setting the Multnomah County Justice Center on fire two times with a liquid accelerant, causing one thousand dollars in damage. This is a massive building that houses the Portland Police Department’s Central Precinct headquarters and also serves as one of two county jails.

Bass was also accused of hurling a homemade explosive at a police officer, which did not detonate.

On December 2nd, Bass and Lilly had their charges upgraded. Lilly was now charged with two counts of first-degree arson, attempted first-degree arson, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, and felony rioting. Bass had his number of charges expanded from five to ten. The pair were re-arrested and processed, then immediately released again on pre-trial supervision.

By this time, Bass had also been arrested by the ATF In October and given a federal arson charge.

Under the leadership of Portland’s “progressive” DA Mike Schmidt, Lilly has been given a slap on the wrist plea deal.  She admitted her role in trying to burn down the Multnomah County Justice Center, and plead guilty to one count of arson and criminal mischief.

She gets zero jail time. Instead, she will serve 120 hours of community service and be on probation for a year and a half. She will also allegedly have to pay $46k in restitution.

This video was taken during an Antifa riot in Portland Friday night, February 13th. After smashing the windows of a Starbucks and an Urgent Care facility, they began attacking police officers with snowballs. The cops simply retreated.
