The prosecution failed in their attempt to ban defense lawyers from describing the perpetrators of the attack on Rittenhouse as “arsonists” and “looters.”
Judge Schroeder ruled that “if more than one of them were engaged in arson, rioting, looting, I’m not going to tell the defense you can’t call them that.”
Schroeder also chastised the prosecution for trying to downplay arson.
