Five women were shot during a Milwaukee High School basketball game where district kicked out the police to appease BLM

Mayor wants schools to bring back the police

Law enforcement would have been patrolling the grounds had MPS not capitulated to BLM radicals.

Five women aged 15, 15, 16, 17, and 20 were shot and wounded during a girl’s basketball game at Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee. The shooting took place on school grounds, right outside the gymnasium. Previously, Milwaukee police patrolled the school grounds during afterschool sporting events. However, Milwaukee Public Schools [MPS] canceled their contract with police in 2020 to appease BLM activists.

Cavalier Johnson, the Mayor of Milwaukee, publicly called on MPS to bring back police patrols in response to the shooting.

Local media say a group of women began fighting each other, and a 34-year-old unidentified male opened fire on them. All five victims were treated at area hospitals, and each is expected to survive. The initial fight was over content posted on social media.

Local media have provided zero details on the suspect other than his age.

The MPS website alleges that Rufus King International is “consistently a top-rated Wisconsin public high school.” Rufus King International is 58% Black, 16% White, 14% Hispanic, and 9% Asian. According to Great Schools, performance at the school is well below state averages.
