Soros backed DA denies blame after a former client he wouldn’t charge kills two women

Even left-wing San Francisco is expressing some outrage

Chesa Boudin

Chesa Boudin is the district attorney of San Francisco. He was backed with money from George Soros. As unbelievable as it sounds, he is the son of two convicted cop killers. His parents, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, were part of the far-left terrorist group Weather Underground. They were convicted of murdering two Nyack, NY police officers, and a security guard. His adopted father is the unrepentant convicted terrorist Bill Ayes. His mother was released from prison in 2003 and welcomed with open arms by Columbia University, where she is now a professor.

Troy McAlister

Troy McAlister, 45, was paroled from prison last April due to a plea deal negotiated by Chesa Boudin. According to court documents, Boudin was McAlister’s defense attorney in a 2018 trial. However, Boudin did not recuse himself from working on the deal. McAlister was given “time served” for a 2015 robbery charge. The deal also saved McAlister from a possible life sentence under California’s “three strikes law.”

After the plea deal that allowed him to leave prison, he was arrested five times in San Fransisco. Every single time, the DA declined to charge him. According to KXIP5:

McAlister was arrested five times in San Francisco in the seven months after he was let out on parole in April of last year. He was arrested in June for burglary and possession of burglary tools; again in August for stealing a car and possession of stolen property; October 15th, also stealing a car and possession of meth; November 6th, he was arrested for auto burglary; December 20th, possession of a stolen car, stolen property and burglary tools.

Hanako Abe

New Year’s Eve, police say Troy McAlister was on a meth and alcohol-fueled crime spree. He sped through a red light and slammed into two female pedestrians while racing away from the scene of a burglary. He was driving a stolen car at the time. He then ditched the car and fled on foot. Both victims were killed.

DA Chesa Boudin is denying all blame and saying “the system” failed. Ignoring the fact that he is a major part of “the system.” He blamed the State Parole Board, the San Fransisco PD, and the Daly City, CA PD for not doing more to keep McAlister off of the street. Apparently, a police report was filed on December 29th in Daly City alleging that McAlister had stolen a car.

Even the notoriously left-wing local San Fransisco media are taking a critical look at Boudin’s actions.

The victims have been identified as Elizabeth Platt, 60, and Hanako Abe, 27.
