SF NAACP rejects San Francisco’s reparations plan

NAACP leader rejects idea of cash payments

Instead of cash payments, NAACP National Board member Amos Brown is asking for remedial programs for Black school children, preferential treatment for Blacks in government hiring and contracts, and more spending on public housing and free healthcare. The NAACP also wants the city to carve out a special Black business district centered around the historical Fillmore Jazz club.

Many Black racial militants are denouncing the NAACP on Twitter. Some even using anti-Black racial slurs and racial characters to describe the group. Some are even using BLM style slogans, such as #DefundtheNAACP.

Recently, RealClearInvestigations examined the various problems that city’s have already encountered while trying to give out “reparations.”
