On April 1st, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov appeared on a Moscow-based national television show called The Great Game. This is a political talk show on Channel One, a Russian public television station. Two political commentators interview Lavrov.
At one point, a host says that he believes that a “cultural revolution” is underway in the US. Biden and the Democrats favor this revolution under the guise of “ending racism” and “discrimination against sexual minorities.” He also accuses Democrat leaders of wanting to allow millions of non-citizens to vote. Therefore they oppose laws that would prevent non-citizens from casting illegal votes. The host says that America is giving rise to a new “revolutionary ideology” that is fast spreading worldwide.
The two hosts also mention that Democrats have historically bused people from Black churches to the polling station in Georgia. They conclude that Democrats oppose the new Georgia election law because they want to use mail-in ballots to place a ballot box inside the church without even needing buses.
Lavrov states, “Yes, I would say that what is happening in the USA can easily be described as a revolution.” He describes Russia as a pioneer and leader in improving race relations, whereas the USA is going in an extreme direction. Lavrov states that this extreme was seen “during the ‘BLM’ (Black Lives Matter) protests. I’m talking about aggressive behavior toward white people.”
Lavrov then mocks the idea that “White Supremacy” is a leading threat to the USA and criticizes the UN Secretary-General for paying lip service to this false narrative. He said that the US “has vast capabilities” to project trends to the whole world, including Hollywood and major social media platforms. “They have Hollywood making new rules to reflect all the diversity. This is also a form of censorship, creating artificial restrictions like this in art. I’ve seen Black people play in Shakespeare’s comedies. I’m just wondering when we are going to see a White Othello.”
Lavrov concluded by saying, “This is absurd. Political correctness taken to the point of absurdity will not end well.”
He went on to say that the US tries to impose its LGBT agenda on other countries with the ulterior motive of promoting US global dominance. He praised protesters in France who have demonstrated in support of the traditional family.
