The Richmond, California, city council passed a hardcore resolution denouncing Israel for “ethnic cleansing.” They also accused Israel of being an Apartheid and committing war crimes.
Mayor Eduardo Martinez and Vice Mayor Gayle McLaughlin sponsored the resolution. The full text of the resolution has yet to be posted on the city website.
The city of Richmond has 114k people and is 82% non-White. It is located in the Bay Area.
