Gary Rasor, 83, was assaulted by a shoplifter while working at the Hillsborough, NC, Home Depot on October 18th. After weeks of being in the hospital, he died from his injuries.
The murder was caught on camera. A Black male is leaving the home and garden section with a shopping cart full of power tools. He hurls Rasor to the ground, causing a fatal head injury. It appears that Rasor’s head hits a ceramic pot that is holding a small tree.
The perpetrator has not been identified and is still at large.
