Covid-19 makes a big comeback in the world’s most vaccination country

Singapore has vaccinated 80% of its population

Singapore gives free doses of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines. The Chinese vaccines Sinovac and Sinopharm can also be purchased, but only very small numbers have taken these.

Singapore has vaccinated 80% of its entire population and 88% of everyone over 12.

Yet, new infections, hospitalizations, and Covid-19 related deaths are way up again. The China Morning Post calls it “A Bitter Pill To Swallow.” The Singapore Ministry of Health [MOH] is called for significant action Monday.

Israel is another nation that has been blindsided by a resurgent Covid-19, even though 65% of the population is fully vaccinated with the Pfizer mRNA vaccine. The Israeli government is now considering giving people a FOURTH dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
