Convicted killer charged with new murder after being released seven years early

Justice System fails again

Mustafa Bush, 39, of Rochester, was convicted of killing Cory Richardson in 2006. His charges were reduced to “unintentional second-degree murder” as part of a plea deal. He was given “supervised release” from prison in March 2020.

His sentence was not supposed to be up until 2027. This failure to prosecute him better, keep him locked up, or too “supervise” him has allegedly enabled another murder.

Now he has been arrested for the murder of Kimberly Robinson, 41, of Rochester, MN. She was found dead in a ditch on December 26th. Robinson dated Black men and had recently told a friend she was hiding from someone. Robinson leaves behind two Black children whose father is deceased.
