HB1135 was just passed 37 to 27 in the Colorado House of Representatives. The bill increases the penalty for indecent exposure to a minor. It goes from being a misdemeanor to a class 6 felony.
The Colorado House of Representatives consists of 19 Republicans and 46 Democrats. 100% of Republicans and 39% of Democrats voted yes. The bill had been sponsored by fifteen Republicans and five Democrats. The bill was primarily being opposed by the transsexual lobby.
