Based on some of the comments posted on Twitter, this is a normal occurrence.
A man was murdered in the Galleria parking garage last month. The suspects are two Black males. They allegedly intentionally hit the victim with their car following a fight. There have been at least two self-defense shootings near the Galleria this year. There was a murder in January.
Late last year, a couple was stalked and followed home from the Galleria. The male victim was killed. The suspect is Devon Jordan, 21, who was already out on bond for a different capital murder charge.
Houston in general is experiencing surging level of violent crime.
