Two NYC Congressmen call on Universities to house, feed, and fund illegal aliens

Should Universities take care of migrants?

Congressmen Dan Goldman and Jamaal Bowman, who represent parts of the New York City area, have sent a letter to the heads of public Universities asking them to take care of migrants.

This includes providing them with housing on campus and providing them with free food, free legal services, and free medical care. The letter went to the heads of the State University of New York [SUNY], City University of New York [CUNY], New York University [NYU], and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has also called on SUNY to house migrants in their dormitories over the summer.

Last year, faculty members of SUNY & CUNY organized a massive protest to block the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. This was to demand more state funding. So now the same people who allege they don’t have enough money are being asked to spend vast amounts to care for migrants.

Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, is currently operating a campaign to bus illegal aliens north and dump them in other parts of the state.
