Ohio is now the twenty-second state to ban transsexual surgeries and the twentieth state to ban transsexual hormone drugs for minors.
The Ohio legislature passed HB68 on December 13th, however Governor Mike DeWine vetoed it.
Both the House and the Senate voted to override the veto on the very first day that each body reconvened in January. HB68 also protects women only sports in public schools.
