Current and former NFL players sure do kill a lot of people.
April 8th, 2021, Philip Adams, a former NFL player, murdered six people in Rock Hill, SC. One day earlier, former NFL player, Travis Rudolph, was charged with shooting two people, killing one of them, in Florida. Another former NFL player, Michael Richardson, was charged with murder last December. Yet another former NFL player, Kevin Ware, was charged with murdering his girlfriend last June.
On November 1st, Henry Ruggs III, who plays for the LAs Vegas Raiders, slaughtered a 23-year-old woman and her dog on a Las Vegas interstate. Data from the car indicates that he was going as fast as 165 mph and was moving at 127 mph when the airbags deployed.
Tina Tintor, 23, was driving a Toyota Rav4. Her car was launched through the air and burst into flames. Witnesses say they could hear Tintor screaming as she died in the blaze. The inferno also killed her pet dog.
Afterward, Ruggs III screamed at police and refused to take a sobriety test.
Ruggs was given a $156k bond and charged with DUI causing a fatality. He could also face additional charges for injuries sustained by his two female passengers and for having a loaded gun in the car.
Most likely, he will be slapped on the wrist with a few years in prison and then only serve a fraction of the total sentence.
