During a bail hearing, it took a prosecutor nine full minutes just to read off the prior criminal history of Christmas Parade Massacre suspect Darrel Brooks. This criminal history span three states, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Georgia. After reading his prior criminal history, the prosecutor details some of the evidence showing that the massacre was intentional. Bail was set at $5 million.
In early 2021, Brooks was charged with shooting at his nephew. The DA’s office, run by radical social justice “reformer” John Chisholm, reduced his bail down to $500 so he could go free. Then he was charged with intentionally ramming his car into the mother of his child on November 2nd. Thanks to the policies set by radical DA Chisholm, he was released less than two weeks later on a $1,000 bail.
The death toll is now at 6, including an eight year old boy. Another 46 were injured. The probably charge document says Brooks drove in a “zig zag” pattern to hit as many people as he possibly could.
