74% of all homicide suspects in Akron are Black

Despite making up less than a third of the population

According to data submitted to the FBI, by the Akron police force, between 2011 and 2020, 67.4% of homicide victims were Black, and 74.2% of known homicide suspects were Black. However, Akron is only about 32%, Black. In 2020, Akron experienced its highest homicide rate in the city’s history.

BLM has been violently lionizing a Black male who was killed by return fire after he shot at police officers. Far-left city officials declared a “day of mourning” for the violent criminal while ignoring the victims of actual murders.

While about two-thirds of Akron homicides are Black on Black, there is a large number of Black on White homicides in the city.

Examples of Black on White murders in Akron:

Ethan Liming, 17, was beaten to death in Akron on June 2nd, 2022. Three Black males have been arrested.

Owen Matthew Barzal, 19, was shot and killed in Akron on October 12th, 2021. Christopher Blue, a Black male, was charged with murder.

Maya Noelle McFetridge,18, was shot and killed at a party in Akron on September 19th, 2021. Cellphone video shows a large group of Black males fighting. One of them pulls out a gun and sprays the crowd. McFetridge, who was not part of the melee, but was killed. Another Black male victim was killed. Akron police say there were many witnesses, but they all refuse to cooperate. The killer has still not been arrested.

Kristopher Roukey, 48, was shot and killed in Akron on May 2, 2021. He was driver for Lyft at the time he was killed. Kahlyl Powe, a Black male, was charged with murder.
