Among the people who tweeted the link to our article was Congressman Lauren Boebert. This caused Sheila Lee to respond with a flurry of tweets directly attacking this website and gaslighting the public as to what her bill states.
Naturally, Lee also suggests that Boebert is a “White supremacist.”
Lee’s bill states that anyone who criticizes any “non-White person or group” in an article or social media post can potentially be charged with a new federal crime of “conspiracy to engage in White supremacy hate crime.” You can read the full text of her bill directly from the official House website.
