After bonding out of jail on his fifth consecutive bond, convicted felony Jeremiah Jones, 22, went after his ex-girlfriend. After allegedly shooting and wounding her, he allegedly killed her nine-year-old daughter, Kylie Sorrells, execution-style.
He has been charged with premeditated murder, and a judge finally denied him bond.
The Houston District Attorney’s office claims they attempted to keep Jones behind bars but says judges kept granting him new bonds. Police began arresting Jones in 2018.
