This type of shooting is taking place across the nation with alarming frequency.
A vigil held in Rochester, NY, for Jeremiah Baker ended with three gunshot victims. Baker was murdered in the same spot last June when he was 17.
A gunman opened fire on the crowd. Baker’s twelve-year-old cousin, Nea’Miah Wilson, was shot and wounded. A sixteen-year-old female, pregnant with Baker’s baby, was shot and injured. Another twenty-year-old male victim was also shot and wounded.
The media has not said anything about the suspects. The mother of the twelve-year-old victim says the perps are “dumb thugs” who are already bragging about it.
Homicides have exploded in Rochester in the past two years.
