Jared Dowell, AKA “Riley” Dowell, was arrested in Boston last night for Antifa-related violence. He is the son of Democrat House Minority Whip Katherine M. Clark, who represents Massachusetts’s fifth congressional district.
According to a press release by the Boston police department, Dowell has been charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, destruction or injury of personal property, and damage of property by graffiti/tagging.
Jared Dowell was allegedly participating in rioting that was meant to show solidarity with Antifa rioting in Atlanta.
Note that Dowell is Clark’s husband’s surname, but she uses her maiden name. Clark once stated on Meet the Press that Jared Dowell has “nightmares about climate change.” So far, Rep. Katherine Clark has not commented on the arrest.
Jared Dowell’s Facebook page was deleted shortly after his arrest. He identified as “non-binary” on Facebook.
