NAACP IL state president suspended for comments about illegal aliens

Did she say anything untrue?

Teresa Haley, NAACP state president for Illinois, has been suspended over her statements about illegal alien crime in Chicago. The comments were made on a zoom call last October, however, the Cook County NAACP President publicized the comments in mid-December. Haley initially denied making the comments and then offered an apology.

Chicago has seen months of protests by Black residents over Chicago’s pandering to illegal aliens. The city has already earmarked $822k in daily spending on services for illegal aliens in the first half of 2024. However, actual spending is expected to be much higher than that.
