Michael Palacios, 31, was arrested Friday. A cellphone video shows him fighting with people inside a McDonald’s. Then he takes an ax and begins smashing the place up while threatening people.
In less than 48 hours, he was released without bail. The notoriously lenient Manhattan District Attorney’s Office charged him with fourth-degree criminal mischief and possession of weapons. Two misdemeanors. Most likely, he will be given a plea bargain and get probation.
