CNN interviewed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and, among other things, questioned them about any ideological differences. Biden casually stated that they are in agreement and referenced a policy he had as Vice President. He said that if he had a “moral disagreement” with Obama he was prepared to “develop some disease and resign.” He appeared to explicitly suggest that he is also willing to fake a disease and resign to allow Harris to be president.
A few left-wing websites addressed the statement saying it was “a joke.” When you watch the video clip, Biden appears dead serious. It does not come off as a “joke.” In fact, Biden states “all kidding aside” two times! However, most American media have simply ignored the statement.
