October 5, 2025 – Ernest Nichols, 60, Greene County. North Carolina – Black on White – Inmate

The murder took place inside the Greene Correctional Institution. Some have speculated that it was a vigilante killing since the victim was a sex offender.

Suspect:

Wilbert Baldwin, 41
