Ilhan Omar previously called for “completely dismantling the Minneapolis police department.” She was at the forefront of the “defund the police” movement.
Now, as violent crime continuous to soar in her district, she is claiming “the police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and to provide the public safety they are owed to the citizens they serve.”
